How do I verify an employer’s coverage?

Employees can verify online if their employer has coverage through the state’s online search tool.

Does workers’ comp cover business owners and partners?

In the majority of states, corporate officers, LLC members, sole proprietors and business partners can explicitly choose to “elect in” to a policy for their own personal on-the-job protection. Including yourself ensures you have immediate access to medical benefits and structured income support if you are injured while performing business duties.

What is not covered by workers' compensation?
