Kathy Kranz

Kathy Kranz leads EverPeak Insurance’s strategic integration and national expansion, overseeing the full P&L and vision to protect the hardest-working businesses in America. An elite financial strategist with over 30 years of experience, Kathy has successfully scaled EverPeak’s footprint, overseeing the initial launch and rapid national expansion. Kranz’s appointment as President in 2025 followed a 17-year tenure at Pinnacol Assurance. As Vice President and CFO, she designed the financial strategy that earned the organization eight consecutive spots on the Ward’s 50 list of top-performing P&C insurers and returned over $415 million in dividends to policyholders. She also oversaw the initial acquisitions and strategy that formed the foundation of EverPeak.

Prior to her time at Pinnacol, Kranz held senior roles in the audit and financial services sectors. Her contributions to the industry have earned her numerous accolades, including being named a Business Insurance Woman to Watch and receiving the Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership award.

Kranz holds an MBA from Regis University and a BBA from the University of Michigan. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Mile High United Way, and has held leadership roles for Cake Insure, the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, and the Pinnacol Foundation.

Kranz is a passionate advocate for personal financial acumen and an avid seeker (and bestower) of new challenges. This approach defines her leadership, whether she is navigating the complexities of a national expansion or running off the side of a cliff while paragliding in New Zealand.
